Description
Journey back in time to the 1800's when life was much simpler—or was it? See for yourself what it was like for our ancestors as they carved out an existence in the wilderness. Experience the sights, the sounds, the smells, and the work that made up their everyday life. See demonstrations of such skills as wood tools, butter churning, apple cider press, corn shucking, corn husk doll making, and much more! Don't forget to visit historic Spring Frog Cabin for a cabin tour, which is open during Pioneer Days.
Walker Farm Pioneer Days is a hands-on, living history event for elementary-aged students and families. Visitors move through different historical demonstrations that showcase period skills or jobs. Reservations are required for all attendees.
While some demonstrations provide small samples of period food or drink, lunches at this time are not available for purchase and should be brought from home.
Circle N Stables Petting Zoo can be added on to your ticket for $6. You will need to sign a waiver
